About Damstrong
Damstrong is a family-owned equipment company based in Seymour, Connecticut. We have been in the equipment business for over 15 years. We specialize in compact wheel loaders, mini excavators, and attachments for landscaping, construction, snow removal, and municipal work.
Our machines use components sourced globally - just like every major equipment manufacturer in the world. John Deere, Kubota, Caterpillar - they all source components internationally. Final assembly, quality inspection, and prep happen right here in Connecticut. Every machine that ships has been through our shop, tested, and set up before it leaves. The engine is a Cummins, the hydraulics are name-brand components, and the machine is backed by a real warranty from a real company you can call.
Our philosophy is simple: we want to sell you a machine, not sell you parts and service for the next 10 years. Nothing is proprietary. Filters, fluids, wear parts - you can get them at NAPA, O'Reilly's, any auto parts store. Parts are cheap . Any mechanic can work on it - Cummins engine, standard hydraulics, no dealer-locked software. We help you with parts. The goal is simple: sell you a great machine, help you when you need it, and stay out of the way while you make money with it.
Engine & Warranty
Our loaders run Cummins diesel engines.
Engine: 2 years / 2,000 hours from Cummins - backed directly by Cummins. Any authorized Cummins dealer nationwide can do warranty work. Balance of machine: 1 year from Damstrong covering hydraulic system, frame, electrical, and all other components. We supply the parts and pay your local mechanic up to $125/hour for qualified repairs. Submit the warranty claim through the form on our website.
Any qualified diesel mechanic or equipment shop. No dealer-locked diagnostic software, no proprietary tools required. The Cummins engine can be serviced at any Cummins dealer. The hydraulic system uses standard components. For warranty work we pay your local mechanic directly. For out-of-warranty work, you use whoever you want - we still help with parts and technical questions.
Parts & Service
No. We give you a full list of every filter, belt, and wear part with part numbers. Walk into NAPA, O'Reilly's, AutoZone and get what you need off the shelf. Oil filters ~$12, air filters ~$25, fuel filters ~$15, hydraulic filters ~$20-30. Compare that to proprietary OEM filters that cost $80+ and ship in two weeks.
Call us. We keep common wear parts, pins, bushings, cutting edges, and hydraulic components in stock at our Connecticut shop. If we have it, we ship same-day. We also help you find parts locally whenever possible.
Shipping & Delivery
Yes. We ship anywhere in the continental United States. Every machine is fully assembled, tested, and prepped at our Connecticut shop before it loads onto the truck. Freight cost is quoted per deal based on distance and equipment size. We coordinate the entire delivery.
Once your machine is prepped and payment is settled: we get you a freight quote (usually within a day), machine loads onto a flatbed or step-deck trailer, you get tracking and an estimated delivery window, driver delivers to your shop or job site. Typical transit is 3-7 business days depending on distance.
Financing
Yes. We work with multiple equipment financing partners. Options include 90 days no payments, standard 36-72 month terms, and seasonal payment structures for snow operators. Apply online at damstrong.net/financing or call Matt at 203-872-7217.
