About Damstrong
Who is Damstrong?
Damstrong is a family-owned equipment company in Seymour, Connecticut. We have been in the equipment business for more than 15 years.
We sell compact wheel loaders, mini excavators, and attachments for landscaping, construction, snow removal, and municipal work.
Where are your machines made?
Components come from the same kind of global supply chain that John Deere, Kubota, and Caterpillar use. Final assembly, inspection, and prep happen in our Connecticut shop. Every machine is tested and set up before it ships.
The 1090 runs a Kubota. The LTS23 runs a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard. Every other loader runs a Cummins. The hydraulics are name-brand components, and the warranty is from a company you can call at 203-872-7217.
What is your business philosophy?
We want to sell you a machine, not a parts-and-service contract for the next 10 years. Nothing on these loaders is proprietary.
Filters, fluids, and wear parts are on the shelf at NAPA, O'Reilly, and other auto parts stores. Any mechanic can work on the machine. The 1090 is a Kubota. The LTS23 is a Vanguard. Every other loader is a Cummins, with standard hydraulics and no dealer-locked software.
We help with parts when you need them, then stay out of the way while you work.
Engine & Warranty
What engine is in the machines?
The 1090 runs a Kubota diesel. The LTS23 runs a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard. Every other loader runs a Cummins diesel.
The 930 and the 930HD use the Cummins QSF2.8.
What is the warranty?
On Cummins loaders, the engine is covered for 2 years or 2,000 hours by Cummins. Any authorized Cummins dealer can do that work. The 1090 engine is a Kubota.
The rest of the machine is covered for 1 year by Damstrong. That includes the hydraulic system, the frame, the electrical system, and the other components. We supply the parts and pay your local mechanic for qualified repairs.

Who can service the machines?
Any qualified diesel mechanic or equipment shop can work on the machine. There is no dealer-locked software and no special tool kit.
A Cummins engine can be serviced at any Cummins dealer. The 1090 Kubota can be serviced at a Kubota dealer. The hydraulics use standard components.
During the warranty we pay your local mechanic directly. After that, you pick the shop. We still help with parts and technical questions. Call 203-872-7217.
Parts & Service
Are parts expensive or hard to find?
No. We give you the filter, belt, and wear-part numbers. Most of them are on the shelf at NAPA, O'Reilly, or AutoZone.
Typical prices are about $12 for an oil filter, $25 for an air filter, $15 for a fuel filter, and $20 to $30 for a hydraulic filter. A proprietary filter often costs $80 or more and can take two weeks to arrive.
What if I need a part you stock?
Call 203-872-7217. We keep common wear parts, pins, bushings, cutting edges, and hydraulic components at the Connecticut shop.
If it is on the shelf, we ship it the same day. If it is not, we help you find it locally.
What coupler does the 930 use?
The 930SD and the 930HD share the same female quick-attach coupler. These dimensions are in inches.

What is the 930 maintenance schedule?
The 930 uses a Cummins QSF2.8. These intervals are from the quick start guide. The filters are off the shelf.

| Seasonal | In fall and spring, open or close the heater-core ball valve. Change the engine oil every 250 to 500 hours or once a season. Change the AW46 hydraulic oil and the hydraulic filter once a season. |
Use a Cummins CES 20078 oil. Valvoline Premium Blue 8600 15W-40 is the oil we recommend. Install the oil filter by hand, without a strap wrench, and torque it to 40 N·m.
Drain the water separator when the water-in-fuel light comes on.
Filters
- Engine oil filter: Fleetguard LF17356 (Cummins 5266016). Also fits Donaldson P557356, Baldwin B40051, Wix WL10299, and Carquest 95084. Older machines use Fleetguard LF17535 or Cummins 5399594.
- Fuel filter and water separator: Fleetguard FS19732 (Cummins 3973233). Also fits Donaldson P550848, Baldwin BF1385-SPS, NAPA 3732, Wix 33732, Carquest 86732, Fram PS11226, and Luber-Finer LFF9732. A machine with an FH21660NN housing uses cartridge Fleetguard FS53060 NN.
- Hydraulic filter: NAPA 557201, with AW46 oil.

What is the 930HD maintenance schedule?
The 930HD uses the same Cummins QSF2.8 intervals as the 930, with its own filter list. Take it easy for the first 50 hours, or the first season.

What fuse runs the air seat on a 930?
On newer 930 and 930HD machines, the air seat only works with your foot on the brake. The air-seat fuse shares the shifting circuit. It is the second fuse down, and it is a 20 amp fuse.

Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. We ship anywhere in the continental United States.
Every machine is assembled, tested, and prepped in our Connecticut shop before it goes on the truck. Freight is quoted for that deal, based on distance and the size of the machine. We coordinate the delivery.
How does delivery work?
After the machine is prepped and payment is settled, delivery works like this:
- We send a freight quote, usually within a day.
- The machine loads on a flatbed or step-deck trailer.
- You get tracking and a delivery window.
- The driver delivers to your shop or job site.
Typical transit is 3 to 7 business days, depending on distance.
Financing
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with several equipment financing partners.
Options include 90 days with no payments, terms of 36 to 72 months, and seasonal payments for snow operators.
